Our History

Our Firm

Robin Gibson founded the firm as its senior partner in 1973.  The firm soon became the first in Florida’s Tenth Judicial Circuit (consisting of Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties and containing the cities of Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Lake Wales, Haines City, Auburndale, Mulberry, Lake Alfred, Fort Meade, Davenport, and Frostproof in Polk County; and Sebring, Avon Park and Lake Placid in Highlands County; and Wauchula, Bowling Green and Zolfo Springs in Hardee County) that was able to limit its practice to civil litigation.

A Retrospective Look

The firm has renovated and occupied four offices in the Lake Wales Commercial Historic District, listed on the U.S. Department of Interior’s National Register of Historic Places.

Gibson was the attorney responsible for the legal work and documentation resulting in the listing on the Register of Historic Places.  The most recent office renovation, occurring in the historic Bullard Building, is pictured above.

The art work is first pictured while the office was under construction and later is shown in the same location in the finished office space.
