Civil litigation encompasses a broad range of disputes, including those in which a party is seeking money damages or compliance with the terms of a contract. Reported Cases
Most court cases are settled. Of the cases that are tried, the larger cases may result in appeals. The cases reported in the law books are those where the appellate court writes an opinion so the legal principles decided in the case can serve as precedent for the benefit of other litigants. Robin Gibson has handled a number of important cases at both the trial and the appellate levels.
